I Wonder...

I sometimes wonder where I belong…

I sometimes wonder if I’ll ever get along.

The world around me seems to be great,

But the pain the world has given me makes me wonder about my fate.

Where is it that I belong?

Where is that place for which I long?

In these thoughts my mind is drenched…

But yet the thirst of my mind isn’t quenched …

I try to convince myself to believe that yes, this is where I belong….

But there’s a part of me which still believes that I can make it to that place for which I long.
